Our mobile pet grooming van is self-contained with its own water and power, including air conditioning.

By grooming your pet at your house, there is less stress on your furry friend because they can watch their house and neighborhood. Also, there are no strange animals around them like at a pet grooming shop, so they are not intimidated and have less chance of catching something.

The van is disinfected after each pet including the tools used.

Helping the Gulf after the Oil Spill

The oil spill is spreading closer to Florida's beach resorts. I heard about a group that collects human or animal hair to stuff in nylon tubes. The water passes through, but the oil is trapped in the hair.

I found a vet in Tampa who is collecting the hair to donate for the oil spill clean-up. As a mobile dog groomer, I make several bags a day of hair. Glad to have a place to drop the hair off and have it help! This link tells how: http://www.matteroftrust.org/

Country Chase Veterinary is the kind group helping with this effort! Today was the first drop for me, and the pups above donated their hair! Many thanks to them!

Hello Fellow Animal Lovers!

My name is Sharon, and I'm a pet groomer for the Aussie Pet Mobile serving the Tampa Bay, Florida region. I've been having fun with all the cats and dogs here since we moved to Tampa in October 2008.

My boss, Mary Newman, is great! She has three vans to serve her customers. I care for the pets in the Tampa, St.Petersburg and Gulf Coast. Her other customers are south of me - Brandon, Riverview, Lithia, Valrico, Apollo Beach, Ruskin, Sun City Center and other towns nearby. Sometimes I help with the pets in those areas.

I'll be posting brief notices here along with photos of some of our cute clients - and their ALL cute when we're done bathing and clipping them!

Above is Suave, a Standard Poodle living with her owners by the Gulf. Sponges is another Standard Poodle who lives with them, and they are quite a handsome pair!
